is the show about?

beautiful transvestites direct from Bangkok in a glamorous
and funny cabaret show – flamboyant costumes, painstakingly
immaculate make-up and show-stopping choreography are the
hallmark of this truly unique blend of cabaret, dance and
comedy.
The show has been a hit at the Edinburgh Festival and will
return there this year after a short tour of the UK.

What
are the Lady Boys?
The
Lady Boys of Bangkok are an honourable part of the rich
cultural heritage of Thailand. They are people of a highly
artistic and creative nature who believe that they have
the right to define their own sexuality. The Lady Boys of
Bangkok are all performing arts graduates. They are all
men – and without doubt the world’s greatest
female impersonators.
Has
the show appeared here before?
If
you liked last year's show- you shouldn't miss this one,
Devils & Angels, The Tenth Anniversary Tour 2008. The show is a new production
for 2008 although certain production numbers are retained through
public demand.
How do I receive my tickets? / Where do
I collect my tickets?
If
you have booked full price tickets and booked a minimum
of 5 days in advance your tickets will be posted to you.
If you have to collect your tickets at the on-site box office
please take with you your reference number and credit card.
If you have booked using any discount vouchers your tickets
will NOT be posted to you, as proof is required. Please
collect your tickets from the on-site box office taking
with you your vouchers, credit card and reference number.
Who
counts as a concession?
Concessions
are OAP’s, students, disabled & their carer, children
(see below).
Is the show suitable for children?
We specify that for all early performances children must be 12 years of age and above, and for all late performances the minimum age is 16 years.
How much are tickets and what times are
the performances?
All
details on prices, times etc. for each venue are on the
website.
Do the seats have backs?
Yes,
all individual seats with backs.
Are the seats numbered?
No,
but the tables are. You will be allocated a table but can
sit in any of the 8 seats around the table.
Is there access for wheelchairs?
There
are a limited number of wheelchair places available at each
performance, to avoid disappointment advance booking is
recommended.
Is there car parking?
Yes.
How long is the show?
1
hour and 45 minutes including a 15 minute interval.
Is there live music?
No,
there is a contrast of contemporary and traditional Thai
music used on a ‘state of the art’ sound system.
Is
there strobe lighting?
Yes.
Is there a licensed bar?
Yes.
Are there any souvenirs on sale?
Yes,
there will be souvenir brochures and T-shirts/sweatshirts
available.
What time can we get into the show?
House
opens 30 minutes prior to the performance.
Can I take photographs or use my camcorder?
Unfortunately,
we do not permit the use of cameras or camcorders during
the show.
I
have made a booking but am now unable to attend the show,
can I receive a refund?
As
it states in our terms & conditions all bookings are
non-refundable and non-transferable.
